CELL PHONES or Electronic Devices

  • Cell phones are not allowed on campus for the FY 25-26 school year.
  • House Bill 340, also known as the Distraction-Free Education Act, bans personal communication devices, including smartphones, tablets, and smartwatches, in elementary and middle schools during school hours. The ban goes into effect in the summer of 2026.
  • If a student can not adhere to these guidelines, the device will be taken and kept in the office and will be released only to the parent or guardian of the student.

 

CHROMEBOOKS

  • Chromebooks are issued to each student. The student will be responsible for using the Chromebook in a proper manner. Parents/guardians will be responsible for paying for any damages to equipment, not to exceed the replacement cost of the Chromebook.
